The Irishmen is 21+ only

If you want a place to hang out with friends over beer, this is the place! Some nights have music, the atmosphere is always great, the food is surprisingly tasty, and the beer selection is great! This is where I go with family, friends, or coworkers if we want a nice relaxing time.

I found the Irishmen shortly after opening and soon realized I had no real reason to dine and or relax anywhere else. If there is ever a question among friends and relatives about where to go, the Irishman is my first and only suggestion. To Barry and company; many thanks, keep it up.

This was the place where I started drinking Irish beers for the first time. Guiness Harp and Smithwick’s. So now I am hooked on Smithwick’s and no matter what other bar that I try, I can never find Smithwick’s as good as this place. They also have Magners and cider drinks that are really good. The happy hour menu is a good selection with the chicken wings being as good as any place I have tried. The burgers and the dinner entrées are also very good. The french fries there are also golden delicious and are as good as you’re going to get anywhere in this area.
This by far is the best bar in downtown Everett. The prices are moderate but this keeps the typical Everett downtown riffraff out of this place. There’s always Irish music playing and European soccer on the television. On Monday nights old traditional Irish musicians played here. On Tuesday nights they have bar trivia that packed the place. On Wednesday nights they have chess tournament playing. And on some Fridays and Saturday nights local popular Musicians musician will play. They’re open till 2am every day.

Went here based on other reviews. Found place nearly full an hour befor hockey game at nearby arena. We were quickly seated and given menus. Friendly waitress took drink orders. When she brought drinks, she reminded us that happy hour was on for another 45 minutes, and confided that most hh food items were full-sized entrees, not reduced portions. We enjoyed our decent, conventional potato skins, then decided to skip the regular menu and share two more hh items. The stew and the fish and chips were tasty and hot, chips were crisp. We still found room for the bread pudding and whiskey sauce. Beautiful, but dangerously hot. Service was attentive without hovering, food was an amazing value. Three food items, pudding, one beer and one Guiness, $36.

Recommended.

A little bit of “Erin” in Everett. Wide variety of Irish ales and whiskeys. The food is great and the Fish-n-Chips are right on the mark. Great Irish choices of  food. Like a pub across the pond. Also, changes into “Tun Tavern” for a night in November. For those that know what that is, it is the place to be that night for a bit of Semper Fi!
